History

• Bridge Clinic began serving the community in 1995

• Dental services were added in 1997

• Behavioral Health services were added in 2008

• In 2013, the clinic expanded its dental services to include a wheelchair room and more operatories

• The clinic earned the Greater Wausau Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business of the Year – Nonprofit Award in 2014

• School-based counseling services were added in 2018

• In 2019, the clinic prepared for its future integrated care expansion

• Refugee health services were expanded in 2021

• Also in 2021, the clinic significantly expanded Behavioral Health Services, including psychological testing

• In 2022, Bridge Clinic transformed its care model and began providing whole-person, fully integrated care

• Peaceful Solutions Counseling merged with Bridge Clinic in 2023, adding more mental health care access, substance use programs, and domestic violence programs
