Dental Hygienist, RDH (Full-time, Tue. – Fri., Merrill Dental Clinic)

The Dental Hygienist is a key member of our clinic’s patient care team focused on meeting the oral health needs of our patients.

Key responsibilities include:

·         Prophylaxis, fluoride treatments, applying sealants, and root debridement.

·         Screening and assessing oral health conditions and health history.

·         Coordinating and providing individualized patient education to maintain good oral health.

·         Utilizes electronic dental records and radiography.

Position requires current Wisconsin license in good standing and a minimum of one year clinical experience.

The successful candidate works well independently and has experience working with a diverse population including underserved patients in our community.

Dental Receptionist, (Full-time)

Our receptionists are a crucial link between the patient and the service and care delivery team. You will serve as the patient's first point-of-contact, both over the telephone and upon arrival; and you will be the last person the patient sees as they take care of scheduling their next appointment.

In this fast-paced dental practice you will be responsible for:

  • Greeting patients and visitors, monitoring patient wait times, and ensuring efficient patient flow.
  • Obtaining and maintaining patient demographics.
  • Answering, screening, routing, and providing information to incoming callers.
  • Receiving coinsurance and account payments.
  • Scheduling patient appointments
  • Scanning patient documents and performing other non-clinical administrative tasks.
  • Fostering patient comfort and trust.
  • Continuously serving patients with the utmost respect, discretion, diplomacy, and tact.

 

Required Qualifications:

·         High School diploma or equivalent

·         One year of experience in a customer service or reception role that involves in-person and telephone communication.

·         Strong computer proficiency

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Bi-lingual in English and Hmong or Spanish

·         Post-Secondary education

·         Experience in a dental clinic

·         Knowledge of dental terminology

Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW (Full-time)

In this position you will work with individuals and families experiencing varying levels of difficulties with life situations or mental health concerns in both clinic and school-based settings. Join a culture that is client and family centered, with a service delivery model that is based on focused, time-limited, and goal specific interventions that enhance and foster the client's optimal functioning and interaction at home, in school, at work and in the community.

Your work includes:

  • Providing high quality, compassionate, ethical, and culturally competent diagnostic and therapeutic services;
  • Completing comprehensive clinical assessments and make independent diagnosis’s;
  • Using evidence based practices in accordance with clinic and regulatory guidelines;
  • Completing suicide and homicide risk assessments and provides crisis intervention when needed.
  • Conducting individual, couple, family, and group sessions within scope of practice and limits of experience and training;
  • Maintaining and developing community referral resources, and referring clients for additional and alternative services as needed; and
  • Working collaboratively Bridge Clinic medical, dental, and community practice partners.

Requirements include:

  • Documenting all contacts with and about the client in the Clinic’s Electronic Health Record; and
  • Completing all required documentation (assessments, initial and updated treatment plans, progress notes, discharge plans, etc.) within five (5) days of the appointment.

Required qualifications:

  • Education – Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited College or University
  • Experience – 2-3 years of experience required; 5 years of experience and / or school-based counseling experience preferred
  • Licensure – Currently Wisconsin license or able to obtain Wisconsin licensure as a Clinical Social Worker
  • Certification – Current or able to obtain BLS certification

  • Certification – Current or able to obtain BLS certification
